Purpose: To extend credit facilities for establishment and running of Seed Processing Units.

Scope of financing: As per field survey, it is reported that quite a good number of seed processing units are operating in the northern part of the country and they are providing certified seeds to the whole country. With required credit available, the units can better grow and thus there is a better scope of Bank’s lending under the scheme.

Target group:Individuals, Firms (Proprietorship/Partnership), Pvt. Ltd. and Ltd. Companies.

Size of the Processing Unit:Normally the Seed processing units are of minimum 20000 quintals (per annum) capacity where one acre of land is required for establishment of the unit.
